Ask a hairdresser, a personal trainer, a wedding photographer or a plumber what they want from a website and the answer is short: people should find me, see what I do, and be able to book or message me without hunting. Then ask what they pay for it, and the answer is somewhere between $16 a month for a site builder they log into twice a year and nothing, because the Instagram bio does the job badly.
The crisp Site plan is one page that does the job well, for $4 a month.
What's on the page
Your name, your photo, one or two lines about what you do. Then blocks, in the order you choose:
- Links to anything: booking page, shop, menu, portfolio, latest video. Each one is a real short link with its own click count.
- Contact buttons that do the right thing on a phone: WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with a message already typed; Call dials; Email opens mail; Directions opens the map app at your address.
- Email sign-up, with the list downloadable as CSV.
- Embeds for a YouTube video, a Spotify track or playlist, a SoundCloud mix.
- Headers to group things, and feature cards with a large image for the one thing you want to show off.
- Scheduling: a block can appear on a date and disappear on another, for a launch, a course intake or a seasonal menu.
Pick a theme and an accent colour; the page is responsive, fast and indexable by search engines and AI assistants, with the right structured data filled in for you.
On your own domain, with nothing else on it
Type www.your-domain.com in the builder, add one record at your registrar, and the page is live on your domain with an automatic certificate, usually within minutes. There's no crisp logo on the page. If you don't have a domain yet, the page lives at you.crisp.to, and you can add a domain any time later without changing anything else.
Who it fits
| You are | The page is | The first button is |
|---|---|---|
| A salon, barber, nail studio | Services and prices, hours, where to find us | Book / WhatsApp |
| A trainer, coach, therapist | What you offer, who it's for, how to start | Book a call |
| A restaurant, café, food truck | Menu, hours, directions, reviews | Menu (as a QR code on the table too) |
| A photographer, designer, maker | Portfolio links, what you charge, availability | Enquire |
| A creator, musician, podcaster | Latest thing, all platforms, newsletter | Watch / Listen |
| A freelancer or consultant | What you do, proof, how to hire you | Email me |
The page is deliberately one page. If you need a blog, a shop with a cart or ten pages of content, a site builder is the right tool. If you need people to do one of three things after finding you, this is cheaper, faster and better at it.
What it costs, and what it includes
$4 a month, or $36 a year. One page on your own domain, no branding, 200 short links a month, 30-day analytics, email capture, contact buttons, dynamic QR codes for anything you print. Everything on the free plan is included, and the free plan is where you build the page before paying anything.
For comparison: Linktree removes its branding at $8 a month and a custom domain costs more than that; site builders start around $16 a month for a page you'll rarely open. (The full comparison.)
And, as with everything on crisp, the links and QR codes are never switched off because of your plan. If you cancel, the domain pauses and the page keeps working at you.crisp.to.
